Your Right to Delete

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the absolute right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. Stuvo fully supports this right. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered by anyone — including us.

Method 1 — Delete from Inside the App (Recommended)

Fastest method. Takes effect immediately.

1 Open Stuvo on your device

2 Tap the More tab at the bottom

3 Tap Settings

4 Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

5 Confirm the deletion when prompted

Use this if you no longer have access to the app.

What Happens After Deletion

✓ You are immediately signed out of the app
✓ All local data is wiped from your device
✓ Your Supabase cloud profile is permanently deleted
✓ Your Google OAuth authentication link is removed
✓ Your account cannot be recovered after deletion
✓ You may create a new Stuvo account in the future using a Google account

Data Retention After Deletion — IT Rules 2021

In strict accordance with the preservation mandates of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021, core registration metadata (your email address and account creation timestamp) is retained in a securely encrypted, completely inaccessible state for 180 calendar days following your deletion request. This data cannot be accessed by you, by Stuvo, or by any application query during this period. It is maintained solely to comply with lawful government and law enforcement requests if required. After 180 calendar days, it is permanently and irreversibly destroyed with no possibility of recovery.

Important Notes

• Signing out of Stuvo (even without deleting your account) will permanently clear all locally stored data from your device. If you plan to reinstall, your data cannot be recovered unless you have a cloud backup (Advanced Studio Tools users only).
• We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account if you need to retain records.
